Documentation is defined as full records of daily production and other records such as pesticide usage, fertilizer usage, trainings, environmental and social assessment etc. By having such information well documented, especially for daily production, the farmer can calculate on how much certified FFBs are produced and can claim a premium price. In addition farmers can have clear records of their costs and revenues, so that he/she can calculate the profit either on a monthly or on a harvest basis.
