This lesson is designated for farmers and ICS members that are assigned to conduct internal audits. Internal audits are defined as the internal evaluation of practices leading to improving aspects within at the group or individual farmer level based on RSPO P&C. Groups assign farmers and ICS members to assume the role of a Certification Body to assess group performance based on the standards. As the internal auditor will assess the performance of the group, each member should have a good understanding of RSPO P&C and of each training module. The goal of the internal auditor is to discover the most findings (non-conformities based on the RSPO P&C) and see that corrective actions are undertaken. Therefore, when the real audit is undertaken the group will have less findings from the Certification Body.
